You don’t need to buy the latest, greatest and most expensive anti-aging skincare creams, lotions and serums. If homemade is not for you, there are more and more skin care lines and boutiques skin care brands that are going natural.
Invigorating the skin can start with something as simple as an all natural facial scrub. Ground almonds and ground oatmeal mixed together with a little spring water makes a refreshing natural facial scrub ideal for women in their late 30’s. If you want to go further, you can add essential oils such as 1 drop of Basil or Lavender to slough off and enliven the skin tone.
Clay masks made with Green Clay, China (Kaolin) clay and cornflower make the basis for an out of this world anti-aging facial mask. Green clay is rich in calcium, magnesium and potassium. These minerals are beneficial to aging skin and replenish the lost minerals in the skin. By adding essential oils of 1-2 drops of geranium or chamomile your skin will drink in the beneficial qualities of the essential oils that target aging skin and will leave your skin smooth and hydrated.
Don’t forget possibly adding steaming to your beauty routine. Remember when you, or your mom used to sit over a bowl of warm water with a towel draped over the head? It worked then and it works now. Steaming opens pores and causes your skin to perspire, thus releasing the dirt and toxins from your skin. Adding Follow this by splashing lots of cold water to tighten the skin.
